Getting the most out of your mattress

Renaissance 3000 Mattress by Deluxe Beds

Turning your mattress
A lot of mattress are now one sided or no turn,  but if not they should be turned end to end roughly about every 3-4 months to get the most out of your mattress.

Keeping it clean
The best way to keep your mattress clean is to vacuum it using the upholstery attachment. To avoid dust build up and dust mites it is best to do this every couple of months although if you have allergies you may need to vacuum more frequently and/or purchase mattress covers.

Cover your mattress
Mattress covers and protectors are the best way to extend your mattress life, they are available in all sizes in quilted, padded, or water protective options. They are perfect for protecting you from dust mites and protecting your mattress from stains.

Air your mattress
Whenever you get chance remove your sheets and protectors and allow your mattress to air out, we sweat a lot when we sleep and this is absorbed into the mattress, air circulating through the mattress and fillings will help to keep it fresh and odour-free.

Do not bed or roll
Do not bend or roll your mattress, especially in open spring and pocket spring mattresses this will cause permanent damage to your mattress and can void your guarantee.
